Pregnancy is both a physical and spiritual experience that deserves to be honored in a creative way. We paint designs that create unique personal works of art. We can paint what truly inspires you and fits your personal style or you can allow me to let my creativity flow freely for something as equally adorable.

For many, pregnancy can be a time filled with both joy and anxiety. Belly painting can be a very relaxing and soothing experience that allows you a moment to concentrate on you and baby. It's a calming way to force a busy mom-to-be, to sit and take some mandatory quiet downtime.
You can chose to be hosted in our home studio or settle into a comfortable and well lit space in your own home/baby shower event. An additional travel fee applies if you would like me to travel to your location.
Memorable Moments
Our safe and celebratory maternity belly painting sessions are followed by a professional photo shoot. You receive digital images suitable for birth announcements, gender reveals, baby shower invitations or personal keepsakes.
The suggested time for belly painting is during the last 3 months of pregnancy but there is no "right" or "wrong" time for belly painting. Some women even choose to repeat belly painting at different stages of pregnancy, creating a visual diary of their transformation.

When is the best time to scedule a maternity belly painting?
The best belly size is when you're 28-34 weeks although, there is no "right" or "wrong" time to celebrate the bump!
What's the process like?
We work with each client to finalize a personalized belly design. We'll do all the inital planning via phone or emails. Depending on the complexity of the design, the end-to-end session lasts about two hours with painting taking about one hour, prep for the photos then the actual photo session.
What's kind of paint do you use?
Hypoallergenic, non-toxic and high quality FDA approved body paint specifically formulated for use on skin. Before applying any product we will do a patch test on a small area of skin to check for any allergic reactions.
How should I prepare for my maternity belly painting?
It's important to start with clean, well moisturized-skin. Moisturize the skin well before and after the painting session to keep it elastic and prevent irritation.
I'm feeling insecure about how I look during pregnancy. Should I still book?
The goal is celebrate the life growing inside and honor your journey towards motherhood. We use the power of color and creativity to express the beautiful story of your pregnancy in a visual and tangible way. The painting suits your belly and even covers any stretch marks. It is designed to flatter every body so you feel comfortable, confident and celebrated.
Can I reschedule if I don't feel well?
Of course -- pregnancy comes first. Just give 24 hours notice when possible and we'll reschedule with no penalty.
What happens after the session?
Since the paint is temporary (washes off with soap and water) we'll take professional photos to commemorate the experience. You'll recieve a proof gallery (about 8-10 photos) in about a week, choose your favorites, and we'll retouch and deliver them. You can also coordinate your session with a professional photographer of your choice for a more in depth photoshoot.
